Internship

Big Brothers Big Sisters is looking for Interns to assist with fundraising events, PR/marketing and/or community program support.  The Big Brothers Big Sisters office is open Monday – Friday from 8am – 5pm.  Hours are flexible and we try to work with student class schedules, but may ask for occasional help on the weekends. This is an unpaid internship.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to these tasks:

Special Events/Marketing

• Make calls/contacts for donations
• Marketing
• Assist with event logistics
• Assist at special events
• Donor appreciation
• Recruitment booths or presentations
• Website updates
• Social media upkeep
• Post-event data entry

Other

• Grant writing assistance or research
• Donor research
• Two For One updates
• Assist with group activities
• File and answer the phone
• Find and train incoming Interns
• Additional items may be added based on interns’ strengths or the needs of the organization
