Enrollment and Match Support Specialist
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Gallatin County is in search of an Enrollment and Match Support Specialist. The right candidate will be passionate about the BBBS mission and their role in matching local children with long-term, positive adult mentors, have experience working with both child and adult populations, flexible and adapt to shifting priorities, remain calm and objective in emotional situations, demonstrate sound judgement and decisiveness, able to build strong relationships with co-workers and those we serve, able to meet goals set forth by the agency, personalize communication to fit different perspectives and actively seek out diverse perspectives, talents and backgrounds to achieve team goals. Minimum bachelor’s degree in social services, human resources or related field. Position is full time, must have a car, valid driver’s license and meet state required automobile insurance minimums. Internship
Big Brothers Big Sisters is looking for Interns to assist with fundraising events, PR/marketing and/or community program support. The Big Brothers Big Sisters office is open Monday – Friday from 8am – 5pm. Hours are flexible and we try to work with student class schedules, but may ask for occasional help on nights or weekends. This is an unpaid internship.
We are looking for someone passionate about our mission and interested in working in the non-profit world after college. Special events coordination is the primary emphasis, but will shape this experience to our intern’s interests.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to these tasks:
Special Events/Marketing
o Make calls/contacts for donations
o Assist with event logistics
o Assist at special events
o Donor appreciation
o Recruitment booths or presentations
o Website updates
o Post-event data entry
o Attend Special Events Committee Meetings
Other
o Donor research and grant writing assistance
o Marketing
o Assist with group activities
o File and answer phones
o Additional items may be added based on interns’ strengths or the needs of the organization
